Rob Bedinghaus

Rob Bedinghaus,

Ph.D, CFP® President, Bedinghaus Wealth Planning Financial Advisor, RJFS

It has been said that a great teacher bridges gaps and builds relationships, friendships and a community. This is also a fitting description of what a financial advisor should be. Rob Bedinghaus became a second-generation financial advisor in 2015 after six years in higher education at Indiana University, where he developed the skills of being an educator while teaching and completing a master’s degree and Ph.D. degree. What he learned from that experience was that he loved to teach and help people, but that he was better suited to do so on a more personal level.

That is when he had the opportunity to join his father, Bob Bedinghaus, as a financial advisor in 2015, learning a tremendous amount from him over the next five years until Bob retired. After spending over seven years at Edward Jones, Rob decided to align himself with Raymond James in order to build an independent practice that would allow him to provide a wider range of services, investment strategies and technological capabilities to his clients.

Rob has spent significant time and effort increasing his knowledge and skills to better serve his clients, including individuals and families, business owners and retirees. Rob became a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner in 2021. He works hard every day to help his clients pursue their most important goals through creating a financial plan, investing with purpose and discipline, and managing bumps along the way. Rob specializes in creating retirement income strategies, helping clients to protect the wealth they have worked hard to build, and efficiently passing on wealth to future generations.

Bedinghaus Wealth Planning would not be complete without Client Service Coordinator Judy Van Dyke, who brings a wealth of experience and efficiency to serving clients.

On a more personal level, Rob is married to his lovely wife, Kate. They have been married for over 17 years and have five children. They reside just outside of Loveland in the country. Rob is very involved in the local community. He is a board member and President Elect of the Lebanon Rotary Club, a board member of Elizabeth’s New Life Center (a nonprofit), and a member of Christ Church Cincinnati.

Raymond James is not affiliated with the above organizations and/or charitable causes.
